Depending on the client’s individual service plan, caregiver responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
• Providing mobility and walking assistance
• Preparing meals
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Assisting with shopping and everyday household needs
• Providing companionship and social interaction
• Offering supervision and safety monitoring
• Providing respite support for family caregivers
• Giving nonmedical medication reminders
• Helping clients maintain familiar routines and greater independence at home

Employment Requirements

To help protect the safety and well-being of our clients, employment with Cypress Homecare Agency is contingent upon completion of all applicable pre-employment screening and eligibility requirements. Depending on the position, these may include Pennsylvania and/or federal criminal background checks, applicable clearances, exclusion screenings, health screenings, reference verification, competency requirements, and driving-record verification. All employment decisions are made in accordance with applicable federal and Pennsylvania laws and regulations.
