Welcome to Cypress Homecare Agency, where our mission is to provide quality, dependable home care that helps seniors and adults live with greater independence, dignity, comfort, and safety in their own homes.
We understand that inviting someone into your home to provide care is an important decision. That’s why we take a personalized, person-centered approach to every client and family we serve. We listen, learn about your needs and routines, and develop an individualized Cypress Service Plan designed around the support that is right for you.
Cypress Homecare Agency provides nonmedical home care services only. We do not provide skilled nursing, wound care, injections, or other medical services.

A More Personal Approach to Home Care
At Cypress, we believe home care should fit the individual — not the other way around.
Every client has different routines, preferences, abilities, and goals. Our services are provided according to an individualized Cypress Service Plan, allowing care to be tailored to each person’s circumstances.
Our caregivers may assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, companionship, socialization, safety monitoring, respite care, and nonmedical medication reminders, as appropriate to the client’s service plan.
We strive to provide assistance with our clients rather than simply doing everything for them. Whenever appropriate, we encourage clients to participate in their everyday routines and maintain as much independence as safely possible.

Caregivers You Can Feel Confident Welcoming Into Your Home
The quality of home care begins with the quality of the people providing it. Cypress Homecare Agency is committed to maintaining caregiver qualification, competency, training, and screening requirements consistent with applicable Pennsylvania regulations.
Our Direct Care Workers are required to satisfy applicable requirements, which may include:
- Pennsylvania State Police criminal background checks and FBI checks when required
- Child Abuse Clearance when applicable
- Verification of applicable education, qualifications, and work eligibility
- Completion of competency requirements under 28 Pa. Code § 611.55
- Annual competency review and ongoing training
- TB screening in accordance with applicable requirements and agency policy
- Orientation addressing consumer rights, safety, emergency procedures, infection control, confidentiality, and agency policies
Clients may request information regarding their Direct Care Worker’s qualifications in accordance with applicable requirements and Cypress policies.
Beyond qualifications and training, we look for caregivers who demonstrate the qualities that matter in someone’s home: compassion, patience, reliability, professionalism, respect, and attentiveness.
